Warm-up

In 15 minutes:

30 sec Sampson stretch each side

50 reps for time of:

DB burpee box step ups (DB in each hand)

*Burpee is to be completed with a perfect push-up. Box height is 20″ (scale up/down if needed for height – hip should be just below parallel when foot is on box). Post DB weight to notes. Wear a weighted vest if you have one.


CrossFit Kids – ages 9-15

 

CrossFit Roselle is starting back up our Kids program as of Monday, August 28th!  The current classes are meant for ages 9-15, and the schedule will be as follows:

Beginners – Wednesdays 6:15pm and Saturdays at 12:15pm.

Advanced – Mondays and Thursdays at 6:15pm and Saturdays at 11:30am.

All students will start off in the beginner program and must graduate in order to attend the advanced classes.  A student will graduate once he/she has demonstrated an understanding of proper body awareness & positioning.

Classes will last 45 minutes each and will include a warm-up, strength or skill work, and a workout.  The advanced classes will have more of a strength-based approach while the beginners will work more on body positioning.  The cost to attend the beginners program is $80/month (2x/week).  Advanced class attendees can elect the 2x/week option for $80/month or 3x/week option for $95.

Additional family members receive 10% off.

Shoot for as many reps as possible of each movement! Don’t game it and save yourself just for the double unders.

5 minutes. 2 burpees each time you get hit or someone catches your ball. 5 burpee penalty for hitting above the neck.

50 Shoulder to OH

60 Toes to bar

50 Tire jumps (jump in jump out = 1)

60 Sledgehammer strikes

*Record total reps completed and weight/tire used. Sub kipping knee raises or V-ups as needed.
